If your thinking of going deep sea fishing in NJ this spring don’t think to hard because only a week away the Drum fishing will bust wide open. For a while you will be able to catch a mix of stripers and drum and then later in the spring it will switch over to all drum. Still have some prime dates available. The striper fishing has seemed to slow down in the last few days but these fish are surely not gone yet. Drum fish are now starting to be caught in the Delaware Bay by anglers striper fishing. These fish will be pouring into the bay in the next week or two in great numbers. So if your thinking about doing any deep sea fishing in nj this spring, these are amazing fish to catch as they range from 20-90lbs and are great fighting on light tackle. The Tara Anne will be back in the water April 1st to start the 2009 fishing season. With the economy being what it is we will be doing everything we can to keep are prices down and keep the fun and excitement up. So we are running a special to kick start the season. Book any trip before April 15th and get 10% off the price of any trip for the 2009 season.
Try to book earily, as most prime weekend dates are easily filled. The last few years the Spring season has produced great catches of Drum in the 60-90lb range, Great Seabassing, and a good but not as consistent Striper season.
