Spring is finally here, if your looking to get out of the house and do something fun with your family or friends this spring why not try deep sea fishing in NJ with the Tara Anne. As of right now Stripers are biting in the Delaware Bay, and towards the end of April early May the Drum fish will be moving into the bay and will stay in the bay until mid June. Drum fish are very fun to catch and put up a great fight; They can get as big as 90lbs and on a usual trip the Drum are in the 60-90lb range. Drum Fishing in NJ

The Drum have finally arrived in the Delaware Bay this year, and are bitting good. These fish range for 50-90lbs and put up a good fight, don’t believe someone if they say its like reeling in a tire; because they probably never caught one. We are currently running Drum charters, so if you are thinking about going deep sea fishing in nj for Drum now is the time. Fall Striper Charters

The Striper season has blown wide open; the biggest fish are usually caught in the early season, and the season has just begun. We will start fishing for stripers now until the first of the year. We fish both the Ocean and the Delaware Bay, all charters are for up to 6 passenger and the prices include Ice, Bait, Tackle, Rods/Reels. Deep Sea Fishing In NJ Update

Currently the flounder are moving out of the back bays and into the ocean around Wildwood, Cape May and Delaware Bay. The flounder fishing has been good and should improve even more at the water temp goes up. The shark season has come to an end for the summer this will resume again in the fall as the water cools. The Tuna are starting to show up now as the water temp rises and should be good in the next week or two, and should remain good till the end of August. Call for open dates some weekend dates are still available.

If your thinking of going Deep Sea Fishing in NJ this is what is Happening Now!!! The Drum are bitting again with the full moon aproaching this weekend it maybe your last chance to catch them for this year. The SeaBass fishing has been very good with lots of action and on some trips that action has been non-stop but a lot have been throw backs. With the water warming up the Fluke/Flounder should be moving out of the back bays now and moving into the range of the charter boats. Some fluke are starting to be caught in the Ocean and Delaware Bay as of this writing so don’t wait any longer go out and go fishing; some prime weekend dates are still avaiable.

Bang on the Drum!!!

If you’re thinking about drum fishing do not wait any longer; there here and bitting. These fish enter the Delaware Bay in Mid April and usually stay around till Mid June; they range from 20-90lbs and put up a great fight on light tackle. These fish can be caught during the day and also at night; we have always felt that the late afternoon to sunset is the best time to go. Not only on this trip will you get to catch a big fish, you will also be able to see a beautiful sunset. These early season Drum trips also can produce catches of Stripers. To Charter the Boat for one of these trips it is $650 for 8hrs up to 6 anglers. Ocassionally we run Open Boat (meaning you can come alone) Charters for these fish and we get $125 a person for 8hrs; if your intrested in this trip or any other deep sea fishing trip in NJ give us a call for avaiablity.

Drum on the Horizon!!!

The striper fishing has seemed to slow down in the last few days but these fish are surely not gone yet. Drum fish are now starting to be caught in the Delaware Bay by anglers striper fishing. These fish will be pouring into the bay in the next week or two in great numbers. So if your thinking about doing any deep sea fishing in nj this spring, these are amazing fish to catch as they range from 20-90lbs and are great fighting on light tackle. We still have some weekend dates available so give us a call with any questions pertaining to these fish or if your interested in booking a trip. Also so keep in mind that May is a great month for seabassing.
